System controlled perpetual inventory
This inventory process organises the systematic and controlled stock taking over the period of a business year.
This makes the personnel and costly stock taking by target date obsolete.

The DEWAS online stockkeeping allows every cash receipt produced by the POS to be booked in the DEWAS database the minute the transaction is closed.
All movements of merchandise will thus be logged entirely and in a detailed way completely and detailed as required by german law. (The legal requirements in your country may be different).
The system will select the stocktaking areas depending on parameters like time required, priority, costs of counting, seasonal items, changes in the assortments. The stock taking will take place during opening hours with low customer frequency.
The responsable employee will receive a daily instructions which items are to be counted. DEWAS will select the items automatically according to the defined criteria. In order to assure a most even workload for stocktaking, the system will constantly plan the remaining amount of work until the next target date.
The stock taking can be combined with other activities like ordering, goods receiving etc. by using mobile wireless devices.
